What Restraunt Can You See Princess at Disney World
Since Walt Disney World reopened, character dining meals have slowly started to reopen as well.
These character meals are not *exactly* the same as they were prior to the parks closing for COVID but they may still be worth making a reservation — especially if you'd like indoor character photos without a mask on.
Let's take a look at exactly which character dining restaurants at Walt Disney World are open right now.

Socially Distant Character Photos vs. Before
Prior to the parks closing, character dining was a great opportunity for up close and personal, one-on-one interactions with characters. You could hug them! Talk with them! Have them sign autographs!
Right now, you won't be able to hug or have in-depth interactions but you will still be able to see your favorite characters from a distance and pose for a quick photo with them. Here's an example from when we visited Topolino's Terrace after Walt Disney World reopened.
You'll also receive an autograph postcard to take home after your meal.
Overall, choosing to reserve character dining right now is a highly personal choice! The meals are pricey and the Dining Plan isn't available at this time. We most definitely enjoyed character dining in the past and still have enjoyed it now — even if it's different.
